Vehicle Description
Beautiful 1967 AMC SST Rebel convertible. Very rare classic that is easy and fun to drive. This is a great dependable weekend driver. It has a rebuilt 290 Typhoon V8 with a small cam. The M11 automatic 3 speed has been rebuilt along with the front suspension and power steering unit. It comes with a new gear box, HEI ignition module, aluminum radiator with twin electric fans, new starter, new brakes, and new shocks. The Rebel has vintage air but not currently hooked up and the 8 track and radio are also not connected but there is a blue tooth speaker in the console which is used for tunes. The convertible power top is in great condition and functions as it should. The paint is an 8 out of ten and looks terrific! The chrome is in good condition with a few small blemishes. It has nice Cragar wheels and tires are 2 years old. Fuel sender was recently replaced and fuel tank cleaned.
The interior in looks great, the black vinyl seats and leather dash are like new. I recently replaced the dash cluster so the mileage shows less than 700 miles but there is about 14,000 miles on the engine rebuild. The manual windows all work and all the windows look good. As with any old car there is always something you can make better but it is really nice as it is.
